Originally from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Mike Kelloway is an educator and community volunteer who now serves as the Member of Parliament for Cape Breton—Canso. 

He is the son of a coal miner and a dietary cook. Throughout his carrer, Mike has maintained a passion for community development and remains a strong advocate on social issues. 

When the House of Commons is not in session, Mike can be found on the road across his riding.

He is fiercely proud to serve each and every community in Cape Breton—Canso.

Our Riding

Cape Breton—Canso is a federal electoral district spanning over 8,000 square kilometers. 

For comparison: This is larger in land area than Canada's smallest province, Prince Edward Island.

Our riding encompasses, in whole or in part: Antigonish County, the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM), Guysborough County, Inverness County, and Richmond County.
